Its roots stretch back 35 years when the company’s founder, Sheldon Chandler, built an architectural company that grew into one of Western Canada’s biggest and most respected firms, eventually becoming the third largest architectural practice in Canada. Its structures and ideas can be seen in city skylines across the country, including Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver.

Yoneda & Associates was established in Vancouver in 1979 to provide consulting services in the field of mechanical engineering. In addition to its broad knowledge and experience in its primary field, the firm also has specialists in Green Building Design, Energy Studies, and Maintenance and Operation. Yoneda & Associates is also a member of the U.S. Green Building Council with LEED Certified Engineers on staff.
